Champagnes
Champagne, also known as vin de Champagne, is a French sparkling wine protected by an appellation d'origine contrôlée that took several centuries to regulate. Its name comes from the Champagne region of northeastern France. The geographical delimitation, the grape varieties, the yields and the whole elaboration of the champagne are the main specificities of the appellation.
