Sassicaia

Sassicaia is one of the greatest wines of Italy. It was one of the first reds produced in Italy in the style of the great Bordeaux wines. The first vintage was produced in 1968. Originally, Sassicaia was called "Vino da tavola", which is usually given to simple wines that do not meet the DOC standards. It is only since 1994 that it has obtained the DOC designation.
